I found this good free registry cleaner from Abexo a few months ago and have been very happy with how easy it is to use. It’s never caused any problems by deleted entries that it shouldn’t and I highly recommend it.

I didn’t really expect there are so many free registry cleaners! If I knew before got engaged into the topic, probably would have tried more of them. That’s what happens when I stick to a couple of good software products 😉 Now looks like I can easily make a list of a dozen of registry tools distributed at no cost. Gotta make my hubpage still longer 😉

I’m a fan of CCleaner, but not because it’s “one of the many registry cleaners”. It is essential in removing the traces spyware lefts in the registry, as well as correcting the attributes corrupted by malware.
At the beginning of this year I got some rogue AV which easily bypassed my PC protection, and had hard time removing it. Steps on how to remove it appeared on forums only weeks later.
