I was listening to the radio on the way to work today and heard that the Mariner’s had a “Mascot Day” at the ballpark. I guess mascots from all over the state got into the game for free if they were in uniform. Several organizations were mentioned as having full time mascots that really surprised me. Easily the most odd mascot belonged to the Northwest Burn Foundation. They have a mascot named Mr. Blister.
Can you imagine a poor burn victim recovering in bed one afternoon receiving a visit from Mr. Blister? I can’t imagine Mr. Blister is all that popular with the kids.
