I bought one of these for my Grandma today who doesn’t own a computer. I live about 900 miles away from her but my father is going to be the on-call service technician if she needs anything. One feature that impressed me was the ability to check the ink and paper levels from the presto.com website.

I’ve always been really impressed with the way HP handles the printing business. I remember a few years ago, right after Carly Fiorina was ousted from HP, and the best anyone could say about HP was how wonderful their printer division was. Clearly, a well-thought out product with a dedicated target market, and some common sense placed around the major pitfalls of competitors will keep HP at the top of the printer game, just as the rest of the company rebounds.
Keep us posted on how the user experience is for your grandmother, I’m curious to see how well the product works for her.
