Until today I’ve used a stand chamois to dry off my cars. The chamois works better than a regular towel, but I found a product that I like a lot better: Griot’s Microfiber Drying Towel.
It’s just the right size at 25″x35″ and just sucks up water like a wet vac. It’s easily twice as fast and just as absorbent as my old chamois. It just glides along the paint picking up every drop of water in its path.
I won’t be going back to the chamois anytime soon.

I completely disagree. I find that for cleaning my BMW 735i (the big boy) that a bit larger, something like 30″x’40” is actually the “right size.”
Although to be fair, the size might be right for one of the smaller models such as the 3 series.

25″x35″ is plenty large enough for my 325i or our Honda Odyssey. Anything larger would be overkill for my needs and more difficult to maneuver.

Yep, I have a 3 series and this size is perfect.
