I'd have to break out looking at the tools section and computer/electronics out of the “Shopping for items not on the list.” As close 2nd and 3rd, but the rest is pretty much the same.Costco Profits = 90% things not on the list, and 10% things on the list.
Before we had kids, we'd go there for 1 or 2 things and always spend $100, mostly on the impulse stuff. Now, with 3 kids, I can buy mostly stuff on the list and still it's $300. Have you noticed that the Orowheat breads went from something like ~36oz. a bag to ~32oz. Other stuff is shrinking as well. I would rather they just raise the price a little!
Straight to the liquor section. Before my 7 month old, it was fine wine like Malbec and Merlot's. Now it's Tequila and Vodka. Gimme the hard stuff! Love the list, btw.

Aaron, my list today included 5 items and I returned home with about a dozen items not on my list. So I believe that 90/10 number.
